Why I’m Refocusing on Client Work After Years in Leadership

After spending the last several years leading marketing, operations, and digital strategy inside a fast-moving agency environment, I’m officially back to my roots: building fast, secure, growth-focused websites for real people and real businesses.

I stepped away to grow professionally, but now I bring that experience back into hands-on development. Brinker Web Design is fully relaunched, taking on new clients, and powered by the strongest perspective I’ve had in my career.

Serving as a Director and VP meant running cross-functional teams across SEO, content, Salesforce/CRM, marketing automation, operations, and web development. That experience fundamentally reshaped how I approach every web project.

When I build a website now, I’m thinking about:

  • How the site fuels your marketing funnel and revenue pipeline
  • How automation, CRM, and analytics connect behind the scenes
  • How teams collaborate on content without breaking anything
  • How to use Agile workflows to reduce chaos and increase predictability
  • How security, hosting, and long-term governance will scale

For clients, this means better planning, cleaner execution, and websites aligned with business outcomes—not just aesthetics.

New Tools, Expanded Skills, Same Reliable Philosophy

The web landscape has shifted dramatically, but my core philosophy has stayed consistent:

Build sites that are fast, secure, maintainable, and genuinely helpful to the people who use them.

Most of my work today blends modern tools with enterprise-grade best practices:

  • Custom WordPress + WooCommerce builds
  • Elementor layouts clients can update confidently
  • Jekyll and static-site builds for ultra-low maintenance
  • Technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, performance optimization
  • CRM-ready forms + marketing automation integrations
  • Structured content systems, reusable fields, taxonomies

Whether you’re a Texas Hill Country business or a remote team, the goal is the same: websites built for longevity—not headaches.

Taking On New Clients With a Much Bigger Toolkit

I used to be “just a developer.” Then I became a strategist, a delivery lead, and an executive.
Now I get to combine all three.

Clients today get:

  • A developer who builds fast, clean, SEO-ready websites
  • A project manager who keeps timelines predictable
  • A marketing leader who understands funnels, attribution, KPIs
  • A systems thinker who aligns web, CRM, automation, and analytics

That combination is rare—and it’s exactly why this relaunch feels energizing.

Who I Work Best With

I’m a strong fit for clients who:

  • Want a partner, not a vendor
  • Have a clear or emerging vision for growth
  • Need a site that supports marketing, not just branding
  • Value clarity, honesty, and a process that makes sense

If that sounds like you, we’ll work extremely well together.

Let’s Build What’s Next

If you’re planning a redesign, launching a new product, or ready to replace a DIY setup that’s holding you back, I’d love to help. Brinker Web Design is once again focused on what I enjoy most:

Helping good people build reliable, scalable, conversion-focused websites.
